The Equation

This isn’t a play on words - we’ve actually passed the
stage where whomever’s they were ceased to matter
and there is no gauge better than surviving the heat -
but let’s be honest - these past three weeks have not
been easily survived; the deaths occasioned working
in the midst of it were predicted; granted - all had the
disabilities statistics provided ample evidence to play
games with - but hey, there they were - working in it

So we, as retirees, keep clear of an organisation that
claims we’re not masters of our own fate - and all the
increased temperatures are factors which have been
in-place phenomena-related for millennia, & we have
never had control over it, & never will - so be it - then
get on with keeping cool like a sensible person does

But don’t run your air-conditioning until the electricity
rates fall to minimums which don’t equate to need…
