Marching In Tune

Being aware it isn’t the way we do things out here 

won’t bring change to this atmosphere; with more 

forces in this air than we’d agree were necessary, 

and, as it’s said, any ‘Liberalism’ we once knew is 

now good and dead, we’d best get used t’ th’ new 

regime’s idea of what matters; the truth’s not only 

in the economy - we’ve yet to accept it as a fact - 

and th’ notion is it can be lead t’ do the right thing 

And no - it isn’t a Trump view - egocentricity can’t 

see the commonality of route; we’re still bound to 

the Commonwealth idea of who we are, or must I 

express it a regressive suggestion of ‘once were’; 

but there’s no doubt it was, and still is the best of 

orchestrations we’ve been marching in tune to
