Whose Idea

Saying I don’t care and making a play as if it’s the
unmitigated and whole truth as indicated by me is
unfair – I didn’t shut the gate, didn’t even know its
place in this dissertation; I queried - why is a gate
suddenly where there wasn’t even a fence, who’s
to blame for the needless ‘construction’ of events;
if assemblies-of-imaginary-matter become ‘facts’,
then at least warn where I’m walking’s a ‘no go’

But the talking ceased at this ‘gate’ which wasn’t
there and we entered a cone of silence where an
iterative anima dissipates into space; & thus I am
on trial because I didn’t see the opportunity sided
within an open/close definition of who dares wins
until it’s too late t’ make detours anywhere but at
