Less A Parody

It may merely be a tepid way of reacting to an artless
confrontation of Media-egested blather - you’d never
digest its gimcrack message in a first fly-by anyway -
too many voices - whether interviewer or interviewee,
express savour in hearing their own vocal iterations -
or am I being facetious as they are by listening t’ me
saying it: but getting to the point isn’t claimed as the
right way, altho’ regaling deafened ears seems okay

So I sit further away from th’ source where reflected
sound suggests interesting things are happening, &
guess what, it works a treat; so my seat in the study
saves my lukewarm sanity from confrontation less a
parody avoiding panegyric’s strategy, & more a limp
in time to save eight of nine already distressed lies
