Employed As Me

As I didn’t pickout, go, opt or plump for; take
fix, settle, decide on, come down in favour of;
vote for, single out, hand-pick, set, designate,
espouse, appoint, specify, adopt or nominate
the job I wanted I can say that I didn’t ‘fail’ to
get myself employed; if there’s irony in that it
still falls short of an equivalence cited worthy
to term unemployment - and in fact, actually,

I’m busier; this vocation’s unmapped location
suggests there’s tertiary evidence it will never
be - no words exist, per se, supporting me as
an unemployment statistic -  & I don’t play th’
edicts, canons or stipulations or woo swayed
hegemonies that do so, I’d say, undoubtedly,

I’m free to be employed as me!
