Another spell of crazed lightening - it doesn’t seem
t’ be Hell bent on removing us from where we’re at,
whereas y’d never know whether a plan was there -
& that can’t rest easy; it’s the third day in row if our
count’s right, things go crazy from dusk til late, sky
alight, rumblings reverberating, occasionally drops
of rain - we agree it doesn’t express dour invective
we’ll likely get pity for - if it’s ever relevant out here
But the way these patterns play on ideas normality
used to suggest were the expressions of balances,
or even checks on a larger scale of what matters &
where anomalies in need of redress exist, it is now
like gambling with no say in who gets the money -
or’m I saying it th’ wrong way, & nothing changed
