While the thrill stays alight we’ll replay that game;
whether its the best ever might engender seemly
debate - tho any proclamation we’re the best yet
isn’t media-tarnished whatever by effervescence
in praise; this is the State of Origin where QLD is
champion again while a Non-Sequitur Wannabes
team from NSW was bested on th’ field by those
home-boys we see as epitome of Rugby League
Maybe Vic Bitter sponsorship of NSW left an odd
aftertaste; we certainly don’t get that from XXXX -
blessed as we are by ‘eleven series wins’ to date;
but it didn’t stop Sydney Newspapers yarping on
about how great were their team of wannabes, &
that they’d show Queensland the door too easily
Sorry to say you’ll need to wait again - until 2018
