There must be a perfidious scent of rebellion in
the air where we attempted to comprehend our
uncooperative coterie o’ modern machinery - if
its merely a trend t’ introspective chicanery lent
in jest - then it hasn’t achieved basal aims of us
being reduced to laughing at its inconvenience;
that more than one of th’ team’s orchestrations
are present every other day isn’t a blessing; - &
no-way are we amused by th' laundry washer’s
indolence; the machine flatly refused beginning
any cycle this AM - & it came after three earlier,
& crude, gestures elsewhere but, lest we forget,
they were all overcome by perseverance, & our
steadfast belief there isn’t, as yet, a conspiracy
Well, if they believe new-age retirees need t’ be
tested occasionally, I’ll guess they’d rolled their
ball so t’ speak; & even if we’re thinking maybe
new dishwasher & laundry machine - it’s less a
priority than seeing all the humour entertaining;
so perhaps its best that we surf in their waves
