I have been here for years; tho’ there
was never a cause to leave I still see
desolation growing; that part of me's
aware while even yet I can rest in the
fey peace this locality commiserates
There are true bones t’ these bounds
of reason - it grew into the reality we
embraced - coming of age when our
family appraised farewells with same
etiquette, and dignity as in a greeting
And there are memories at rest here;
they will comfort me until the day it’s
said you reattain their rejuvenation -
a moment where its meaning makes
a true sphere of life’s circumference
