Seeing The Odyssey

So a shopping trip to the mall isn’t supposed to 

be th’ odyssey is it, - unless it is that pilgrimage 

you’ve avoided lest it change your views on the 

acuity o’ being led into something you normally 

wouldn’t espouse, or do without due ceremony; 

but we had a bigger problem, of how to survive 

th’ walking distances entailed - they were there 

t’ suggest rethinking might curtail any pain due 

when no-longer fleet of foot enough, or capable 

of pacing those distances you’ll need sang-froid 

queued in the senior’s motorised mobility aid, or 

something ‘rollatored’ to that scene - but there’s 

the irony, you’ll disavow incapacitation, & being 

of that mien, try seeing it through the old way - 

Which was this Odyssey - tho’ we know it now
