To celebrate we cook a classic Ragù Bolognese;
okay - it was already in the freezer - so the effort
diminished t’ that necessary in fabricating meat-
balls to accompany it - and they were chicken &
cheese of Italo-Asian origins; it’s a beauty, so far,
flavours we’ll reminisce over, while sipping a fine
red, the gustatory pleasure we’ve grown used to
as we aged into homebodies with ‘taste-to-burn’
But tomorrow is another day back on the wrack,
the first Hospital visit for investigate procedures
to commence and the track narrows again; we’ll
either be relieved, or required to wait for therapy
that is around the bend - but in the meantime, it
is th’ ‘hurry-up with delays’ - tho th’ ragù awaits
