Noticing FIFA World Cup didn’t grant itself th’ top 

shelf space in Australia of what matters on TV still 

didn’t make headlines until we tried to find games 

to record; apparently th’ SBS 104 Channel gained 

exclusive rights t’ show what enthrals ‘em but no- 

one else exhibited a hoot. It is still early days yet - 

hysteria hasn’t spread, but if The Socceroos boot 

Les Froggies there’ll be a furore hoohah galore … 

Meantime you can see Th’ Donald making an ass 

ad infinitum of himself on about twenty channels - 

with postured repeats of regressive inanity thrown 

in for free under the guise of being th' latest news 

t’ matter anywhere; all of it while in Russia there’s 

th’ chance of being consummately entertained
