Railing to th' pixies wont engender change; if you
believe th’ birds & bees cooler weather’s again in
season; they say no way it’s climate instability, it

needs freeze in summer’s fail to wipe th’ slate or
break a spell that takes y’ gelid feet for ransom in
a fete o’ lurid fantasy; no mate it’s just a season’s
way of being what it is; tho’ as your age explains,
no way you’d deem it be as of, or by, another fee
And so we wrap in layers meant to salvage heat,
while seeking warmer spots that meet a comfort
level slightly higher up th’ chain - yet out there in
th’ tepid sun’s surmise, basked in fragile adages
less agonies, the wise agree - this Winter comes
a great surprise - and learn again how t’ survive
