Diplomatic Jeopardy

Reportedly by the hands of a Saudi Death Squad, 

the recent elimination of Jamal Khashoggi brands 

this execution Diplomatic Jeopardy; he’d entered 

Saudi Arabia's consulate in Istanbul on October 2 

to obtain a document certifying he was divorced - 

he intended marrying his fiancee Hatice Cengiz; it 

appeared the death squad was in situ, & act long 

planned. Then an undiplomatic fabrication began 

Jamal wasn’t exactly ‘friends’ with Saudi Royalty, 

although history shows he’d defended as well as 

co-operated with & represented them in the past; 

somewhere along th’ way his ‘Journalism’ played 

truancy with what the Royal’s decreed Right And 

Proper - presumably he’s paid that ultimate price 

Committing murder in Consular territory, denying, 

then admitting th’ act seems a bit two-faced, but 

we are dealing with a case ‘effacing’ Khashoggi’s 

belief ‘freedom of expression’ needs space to be 

visualised; what we’ve seen’s how Saudi Royalty 

conceptually deals with advents of that surreality
