Domestication

It goes without saying they are more than the usual
semi-domesticated beasties; suggesting they don’t
obey, or more likely ignore instincts detailing needs
to shy away when we tried shooing ‘em off th’ lawn
might explain their reluctance; they’d see it as safe
a place as any, tho in this drama we’re th’ aberrant
characters who, in their sagacity - are not currently
exhibiting full efficacy of training we’d’ve received

So they hang in a ‘We’re here to help you get over
your shortcomings’ role, all while masticating lawn
grasses, then they’ll excuse themselves saying its
time for us t’ go get a drink out o’ th’ Creek - now
be patient - we’ll be back. And that about sums it
accurately - unless we escort ‘em to the gate…
