What’s The Grift

Asking what’s the grift of it certainly engenders a 

sense of surreality - if there’s less than a penny’s 

investment then Mark Latham’s destined to wear 

credibility thinner than th’ panache with which he 

reads One Nation robocalls for Pauline Hanson - 

altho’ I can’t imagine the effects addressing that 

ludicrous irony; but that’s Mark’s political view, & 

we’ve lived thru & survived his era’s leadership - 

yet can’t dismiss him engaging in petty, or small-

scale swindling; asking why the disgraced leader 

of an ‘olde Labor hegemony’ emerges from what 

seemed a self-imposed penance of banishment, 

and then throws himself at a redhead epitome o’ 

a peacock wrapped in gaffer tape is so amazing
