If th’ last day of 2016 hasn't an influence beyond
portent for more of the same I’d be amazed - it is
th’ prediction we denied assiduously; not by me I
hasten to add, I got reality-converted way back &
when real math didn’t challenge anything but the
belief we weren’t responsible - I caved in; I know
who lit the fires and grew bitchingly-rich - almost
joined that society - whoo-whee, another Trump
But I didn’t. I chose to write, & not claiming to be
what one might consider “right & proper indices”
let’s me observe what others made a buck from -
don’t look at me; I didn’t invest in petroleum for a
start, or coal, or any other thing we burn to make
that ‘life’ an easier investment-panacea’s dream
