In Isolation



I am not admitting that when in isolation one begins 
seeing things less astonishing clarity; okay, there is, 
I guess no denial of a lack of competing events, we 
are one-tracking entertainment & it is Super Rugby 
on the only Map relevant. Which meant 9 games to 
record & watch over the past weekend … equating 
to some fourteen hours of contest, ranging classic 
thru mundane, with one lavish exception extant 

If the Hurricanes and Rebels had played any better 
despite an uneven result of 71 - 6 we would’ve had 
to agree the rest of the games were a mix of blasé- 
cum-ordinary; still good games mind you - but they 
didn’t ignite senses like the magnificent example of 
irrefutably Rugby Heaven it turned out to be
