Injudicious Use

It was never an argument; this was a grandaddy
huntsman spider hiding and in full view upon th’
screen door; now, if he had a plan one assumed
it’d be t’ reconnoitre th’ whole joint, find th’ best
spot to establish as his special space and scare
the wits out of anyone plagiarising it: ceilings let
‘em be King of the roost with ample room t’ see
clearly where their tucker supply needs pruning

Well it was not to be - however he wasn’t going
to quit that easily - although the broom wielded
dextrously suggests he’d better renegotiate, in-
camera maybe, whether there is this case to be
answered for ‘injudicious’ use of brute force -
in the event he relented, & wisely disappeared
