Adage Of Need

It is Friday - and although still early yet, there is
an agenda making stern attestations ‘bout time
allocation - there’s a live Cricket Test Match on
TV, one where th’ English almost broke records
for the lowest score yet in an innings - that you
couldn’t care less because it is round six of the
Super Rugby competition means unfortunately,
its relegated to ‘watch later, maybe’; meantime

we’ve to usefully fill a gap until 4:35pm - that is
when the Bulls go up against the Crusaders; of
course we could watch replays from last week,
if we have that sort o’ stamina - or perhaps, be
diligent with the clothesline to rewire; that from
last time around, took half of an anxious day…

so my guess is - uh uh, no way’m I getting into
that sort o’ stress prior t’ a footie match - & we
rethink time available wisely - a poppa nap has
an unassailable aura of attraction which’d save
your sanity - and th’ idea grows into a majestic
refuge - & becomes humanity’s adage of need
