Precedence

You’re never really freed of it in our beautiful State, 

& Queensland has th’ reputation of a long memory; 

so, while it may seem temporary t’ some residents, 

th’ evidence has features severely etched in what’s 

glibly expressed as a paranormal landscape; yeah, 

it goes back millions of years, but that merely says 

it has happened before - and there, see th’ effects; 

they couldn’t be better termed as plain disastrous 

So cyclonic activity predicted for the week has real 

precedence which, combined with th’ slow-moving, 

already backed-up flood waters way out West, will 

surely mean we are in for a long damp spell where 

inundation will be the norm;  it could be like having 

t’ live in or under a shallow, very warm, inland sea
