What We Achieved

You know why you’re not going to say so - and 

there’s a lifetime’s commonsense buried in that 

intelligence’s warp & weft; you couldn’t win the 

argument - less a change in the prevailing wind 

Requesting we go back t' the beginning isn’t in 

the script, and doesn’t reflect a ‘Holy Grail’ you 

never suspected having a diffident, or’s it more 

correctly, a ‘different’ view of who’s who; in the 

Event there’s unlikely t’ be a compromise we’d 

see’s a progressive solution inventing new and 

pleasing theses on whose set’s of experiences 

we’d review & integrate into what we achieved 

But there’s been a breakthrough: in not saying 

a thing derogatory, what’s been implied meant 

we’re still on the same level & agreed; it forms 

consent we didn’t need put t’ that ancient test
