Rugby Saturday

Not my kind of Rugby Saturday; that’s at least t’
put it mildly - team’s I’d normally expect to best
the opposition didn’t have indecency enough to
do th’ deed & with vigour in th’ style we’ve seen
in recent weeks; firstly, the Sun Wolves beat the
Reds like they were dead; well, maybe just their
Coach, one Bradly Thorn, whose head is buried
deep in strife because his team’s ‘too immature’

Well, for sure, 28 - 63 must rate as rife t’ say th’
least for being beaten by the bottom team; and
th’ Crusaders v Waratahs display their half time
score, which said th’ Tahs are making hay, 29 -
19, while the Christchurch lads are still abed; it
may not stay that way, - but still, - it’s dicey yet

And so I rest my case; with four more games to
go there’s little left t’ chance a-breaking themes
which seem embedded in the warp & weft, and
where its gross intrigues prevail t’ keep a guest
on tender-hooks, thank Heaven’s I don’t bet th’
the wage of patronage for it to keep me clean…

For the record, Crusaders 31 - Waratahs 29
