Not A Nail Biter

If it has to be said gently then I’m your man - she’s
a bit of a tartar on interpreting rules, and the game
suffered a tad; she’s Irish & it might’ve explained a
a wee bit - but Helen O’Reilly went better ’n that to
be the difference between much improved Aussies
in their Wallaroo jerseys and th’ Black Ferns whom
they were having a second go at; but I won’t go so
far as to say the Wallaroos were probably robbed

On the other hand - any referee’s pedant for being
correct in every detail whether relevant to th’ issue
imagined or blandly off-centre, the actual passage
of play is what really matters; & today - toadied as
we were - all consultations seemed obvious waste,
though the result played Ferns 29 - Wallaroos 3
